Flags hang half mast in Dutch town for murdered teen's funeral

Flags are hanging half mast in Hoevelaken on Tuesday. Murdered 14-year-old Romy Nieuwburg's funeral will be held this afternoon.

The funeral starts at around 3:00 p.m. Both the service and burial will be held in the presence of only her family and friends. Others who want to show their respects, can do so by lining the route of the funeral procession.

A memorial site was set up for Romy at the music chapel in the town, RTL Nieuws reports.
