Coffin left to rot on Amsterdam street

Residents of Amsterdam's Deltastraat were shocked to be confronted with a coffin on their street when leaving for work this morning. The coffin was left with the garbage, along with a couch, pieces of wood and some wallpaper, AT5 reports.

The story behind the, luckily empty, coffin is unclear. It was taken away with the garbage truck around 11:15 a.m.

According to AT5, a coffin can cost anything between 300 and 2 thousand euros.
