KLM partners with Airbnb for travel packages

From now on KLM passengers who book a flight ticket through the airline's website, will be referred through to Airbnb to book accommodation in their destination should they wish to. The Dutch airline and the house sharing site announced their new partnership on Friday, Het Parool reports.

In exchange for the Airbnb link on the KLM site, the airline will get commission for every booking made through that link. How much the airline expects to earn with this is not yet clear.

KLM already has a similar deal with hotel site Booking.com. It is also possible to rent a car through the KLM site.
