Corrosive liquid thrown in bus driver's face; Three suspects at large

A bus driver in Eindhoven was attacked by three men on Friday, January 27th, the police said on Wednesday. The perpetrators threw a corrosive liquid in the bus driver's face, injuring his eyes. It is unclear whether he will recover fully, Omroep Brabant reports.

The men threw the liquid in the bus driver's face immediately after boarding the bus at the Nicolaistraat bus stop and then fled on foot. They are still at large.

The perpetrators are all men between the ages of 20 and 25 years old with tanned skin.

There were a number of passengers on the bus when the attack happened. The police call on witnesses to come forward.
