Jihad expert cancels Amsterdam talk in fear of an attack

Belgian jihad expert Montasser Alde'emeh cancelled his talk in Amsterdam for the Brainwash Festival on Saturday because he feared that ISIS terrorists would assassinate him, he said to newspaper AD. "Islamic State has me listed on a death list. They can strike at any time, also in Amsterdam. I spoke in 2014 in Syria to Flemish and Dutch jihadists and since it became known that I work with the Belgian security service, I've been threatened from that angle. I am a spy in their eyes." he said to the newspaper. A spokesperson for the Amsterdam municipality told AT5 that the municipality was not involved in Alde'emeh's decision.
