Tilburg police catch man with crossbow after standoff

A crossbow carrying man was arrested after a standoff with the police in Tilburg on Friday night, the police said in a statement on their website. Police officers responded to Goirkekanaaldijk at around 10:25 p.m. on Friday after a report of a man dressed in dark clothing walking the streets with a crossbow. The man initially refused to put down the weapon. But eventually relented when the officers drew their weapons and aimed at him. The 34-year-old Tilburg man was arrested and the crossbow
