After arriving in Leiden two weeks ago, Tyrannosaurus Rex Trix is assembled and ready to greet her public. From tomorrow the public can come see this queen of the dinosaurs at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center. According to Naturalis, Trix was about 30 years old when she died some 66 million years ago. She was about 13 meters tall and weighed a massive 5 thousand kilograms. "Tyrannosaurus Rex is the most famous, iconic and imagination evocative dinosaur in the world. It was one of the largest predators to walk the earth, with razor sharp teeth and the most powerful bite ever." according to Naturalis. In preparation for Trix' introduction to the public, Naturalis released a series of videos of T.Rex footprints and related devastation found in various Dutch cities.
