Body found in Amsterdam canal
A body was found in the water of a canal next to the N236 at Driemond in Amsterdam early on Friday morning, Het Parool reports.
Nothing is known about the identity of the victim so far, only that he was male. The body was found around 5:45 a.m. Emergency services are at the scene for investigation.
The investigation led to delays in traffic on the N236 between Weesp and the A9 for a time. But the road is open again and traffic is flowing normally.
