KPN malfunction leaves customers without mobile internet

KPN is dealing with a malfunction on its mobile network that is resulting in customers not being able to access the internet, though they can still make calls. The problems started at 7:00 a.m. and KPN hopes to resolve it by 11:00 a.m., according to the telecom company's maintenance page. The telecom provider initially reported that the problems were caused by problems with its energy supplier. But according to NOS, that does not seem to be the case. On Twitter KPN states that the problem is affecting "several regions", though not which regions specifically. According to allestoringen.nl, which provides a disruption oversight partly based on messages on social media, the Randstad in particular seems to be affected.
