Rescued dog thanks Amsterdam cops with popsicles

Amsterdam police officers received a surprise box of popsicles from a surprising source, the police said on Facebook on Monday. Pit bull Troy brought the officers a treat to thank them for helping him after he was stung by a bee. Troy and his young owner were walking in Rietlandpark last month when the dog was stung by a bee in the neck and went into shock. Troy's owner called for help, which officers working at the Piet Heinkade across the street heard. They sprang into action and rushed Troy and his young owner to the vet. Luckily in time, because Troy made a full recovery. Troy brought his rescuers some popsicles to say thank you.
