Survey: Freelancers feel under-represented in Dutch politics

The vast majority of freelancers in the Netherlands feel they are not being represented in Dutch politics - not a single political party fights for their interests, according to a survey by MWM2 on behalf of BNR. Political parties are still clinging to the old, outdated labor model, according to Maarten Post, chairman of freelancers association ZZP Nederland. The group of freelancers in the labor market continues to grow and the labor model has to change with it. "I think the political parties have to face reality and deal with it seriously", he said to BNR. The Freelancers Congress is happening in Utrecht on Friday. The congress includes a debate with parliamentarians.
