Body found on Hague street; one arrested

One man was arrested after the discovery of a body on Schalk Burgerstraat in The Hague on Monday morning, the police announced. Officers are also investigating whether the body is linked to a burning car found in the vicinity. Officers responded to Schalk Burgerstraat at around 5:30 a.m. on Monday after a report of a man lying on the street. At the scene they found an unconscious man. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful and the man, a 51-year-old from The Hague, died on the street. The police are investigating the cause of death. A 21-year-old, also from The Hague, was arrested in the vicinity of Schalk Burgerstraat. Investigators are looking into whether this young man was involved in the victim's death.
