Fake cop, resident hurt in armed home invasion

Two armed men dressed as police officers forced their way into a home in Landgraaf on Tuesday and robbed the inhabitants. Two people were injured, including one of the robbers. The two men forced their way into the home on Eijgelshovenerweg around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. They shot one of the residents upon their entry. A struggle ensued, injuring one of the suspects. The fake cops fled the home. It is unclear whether they managed to steal anything. A few blocks away they hijacked a black Fiat Panda with registration number 00-LLK-2, threatening the driver with a gun. The injured victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The police are looking for the perpetrators and calling on witnesses to come forward.
