Winter hangs on: Cold weather expected this weekend

Those enjoying the current nice weather in the Netherlands should make the most of it this week. Cold, wintry weather is expected for the weekend, according to Weeronline. Today will be hot and sunny, with afternoon temperatures of around 26 degrees expected. From tomorrow clouds will start coming in, but temperatures will still be around 24 to 26 degrees for the coming days. On Friday afternoon temperatures will drop below 20 degrees. Saturday and Sunday re expected to be cold and cloudy with a good chance of rain. Minimum temperatures will dip to around 5 degrees and maximum temperatures will be around 13 degrees, according to Weeronline. Meteorological institute KNMI's expectations are even more chilly. The KNMI expects afternoon temperatures on Saturday and Sunday to not reach higher than 11 degrees. Sunday has a 90 percent chance of showers.
