Rotterdam shooting leaves one hurt, three arrested

One person was wounded and three were arrested in a shooting incident on Aleidisstraat in Rotterdam just before 10:00 p.m. on Thursday night. Local residents called the police after hearing a gunshot and seeing a car drive away at high speed. At the scene officers found no one on the street, not even a victim. Gun violence is high on the Rotterdam police's list of priorities, so the officers decided to check all hospitals in the area. Near one of the hospitals they found a man with a gunshot wound. Also in the area the police found a car matching the description of the one seen speeding away from the shooting. Officers pulled the car over and arrested the three people inside.
