LGBT group furious at Jehovah's Witnesses "bitter, heartless" marriage video

Gay interest group COC is furious at the Dutch Jehovah's Witnesses community about a children's video placed on their site explaining why marriage should be between a man and a woman. The organization is calling for the video to be removed, ANP reports. According to COC, the video's message is firstly that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are going to hell and secondly that they can change their sexual orientation by choice. "The packaging is sugar sweet, but the message is bitter, heartless and harmful", COC president Tanja Ineke said to the news wire. "Such a a video can drive LGBT children in Jehovah families to despair." COC is asking the religious community to remove the video and to open a debate with them about the matter.
