Christian politicians unnerved by porn star’s appearance at town fest

The joint Woerden faction of Christian parties ChristenUnie and SGP are protesting against former porn star Bobbi Eden opening the town's annual festival. Chairman Simon Brouwer thinks it inappropriate to use a subsidy to bring the porn actress to the town. "Should we give a podium to such people? That does not fit with King's Day", he said to the Telegraaf. King's day and the town fair fall on the same day. Bobbi Eden herself is surprised about the criticism. "I've done more than a hundred meet and greets and never has a word been said about it", she said to Woerden TV. "Moreover, on the poster of the Woerden fair I'm not the only one with a sex tape." She's referring to Dave Roelvink, also appearing at the fair. His sex tape made news last year.
