French kissing Wilders, Putin posters allowed at some public transit stops

Amsterdam public transporter GVB decided to allow the Jonge Socialisten's pro-Ukraine referendum poster of PVV leader Geert Wilders kissing Russian president Vladimir Putin. The poster can be seen on various GVB stations and stops. The Jonge Socialisten is the youth division of labor party PvdA. With the poster they hope to persuade the Dutch public to vote for the association agreement with the Ukraine at the referendum on April 6th. Dutch railway NS decided to ban the poster from its stations after advertising agency Exterion decided it was offensive. Bart van Bruggen, chairman of the Jonge Socialisten, said he was baffled by NS' decision. “Apparently NS is more afraid of the KGB than of the loss of freedom of speech”, he said.

Ze hangen er hoor! @GVB_klanten geeft @NS_online het nakijken en plaatste onze Putin-Wilders poster wél! @jspvda pic.twitter.com/TyBtjzXN4s
