V&D stores may temporarily re-open with closeout sales

A number of V&D stores may reopen temporarily for a closeout sale to get rid of the remaining store inventory. The administrators working on the chain's bankruptcy are discussing the option with a number of property owners, a spokesperson confirmed to AT5 on Tuesday. The spokesperson stressed that this is just one of the possibilities being considered. He could not specify which stores are involved or when the closeout sales may happen. V&D's restart fell apart last month. Since then the administrators have been working on settling the bankruptcy, which includes selling the stocks that remain in stores.
