Two Amsterdam coffeeshops shut down after getting shot at

The city of Amsterdam ordered the closure of two coffeeshops - De Kroon on Rietwijkerstraat and The Power on Srphatistraat - after shooting incidents at each of them. De Kroon in Zuid was the victim a middle-of-the night shooting on January 24th. Five bullet holes were found om the window next to the front door and five in the counter. The Power was shot at on February 16th in broad daylight. Several shots were fierd. One person was injured by flying glass. Mayor Eberhard van der Laan ordered that both these coffeeshops be closed indefinitely.
