Sunny Christmas morning predicted for much of the Netherlands

Christmas morning will start out sunny for many places in the Netherlands, though the KNMI does not expect this to last. All of the Netherlands can expect cloud cover from this afternoon, with even some rain in the evening. Temperatures will be around 8 degrees and run up to 10 degrees on Friday evening. The southwest to south wind will be moderate inland, but powerful along the coast and on IJsselmeer. Friday night will be cloudy with a chance of rain or drizzle in the Northeast. Temperatures will be mild around 10 degrees. Boxing Day will be dry and the cloud cover will break during the course of the morning from the south. Many areas will have some sun shine. Temperatures will be very mild between 12 and 15 degrees.
