Dog pack attacks teen boy in Zaandam; Police seek owners
A 17 year old boy was attacked by three dogs in the Burgemeester in 't Veldpark in Zaandam on Tuesday afternoon. He was injured in his face and lost a tooth. The police are looking for the owner of these dogs.
According to the police, three women were walking their dogs - a big brown dog, a black pit bull type dog and a white dog - in the park around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The boy was also walking through the park.
The black dog suddenly charged and jumped the boy. The brown dog joined in. One or both dogs bit the boy in the face and on his clothes. The women called the dogs back, but paid no further attention to the injured boy.
The police are looking to identify these women. They left the park in the direction of Schepenlaan. The police are calling on the women to come forward. Any witnesses are also requested to contact the police.
This is the second dog attack reported on today. Two pit bulls were put down in Rotterdam after they attacked their owner.
