In addition to the very strong winds, the storms may be accompanied by lightning, thunder and hail. The KNMI advises to stay away from open water and open areas and not to take shelter under trees. The weather will remain turbulent throughout the evening, especially in the coastal areas. Afternoon temperatures will reach around 13 degrees.
