Lufthansa cabin crew strike prompts some Schiphol cancellations

Striking Lufthansa cabin crew members are making an impact on Dutch travelers on Monday. Thirteen of the 929 flights the German airline had to cancel on Monday, were flights to and from Schiphol airport. The Lufthansa cabin crew has  been striking since Friday, according to broadcaster NOS. The airline is planning to cut back on staff pensions to reduce costs. German trade union UFO is striking against this. According to the broadcaster, the strikes will continue throughout the week, alternating between airports.

UFO strike action announced for LH flights on 09.11.2015. More information here: https://t.co/rtqOSjaxDP
