Major Belgian-Dutch cocaine ring broken up; €1 million seized
Nine arrests have been made in connection with more than 500 kilograms of cocaine and 1 million euros in cash. Belgian media has reported that two of the main suspects, Jimmy H. and Abdelilah EM., have been arrested at the port of Antwerp where they helped to collect the drugs.
Suspected “treasurer” of the gang Renzo Q. was arrested after having found to be in possession of sporting goods bags with 1 million in cash inside. Police have reported that all alleged gangs members have been arrested over the past two weeks, including a female member who was found to be in possession of two kilograms of cocaine.
Belgian media has reported on Thursday that EM and H were two notorious figures in the drug circuit.
