Drechttunnel closed down after truck accident

The Drechttunnel on the A16 towards Rotterdam has been closed down after a truck lost its load of Fristi. The yogurt drink is now covering the tunnel floor. The truck driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and fell asleep behind the wheel, according to RTL Nieuws. The truck hit the tunnel wall and lost its load when the driver fell asleep. The badly damaged vehicle came to a halt a few meters away. Rijkswaterstaat expects that the tunnel will be closed until at least 10:45 a.m. while the truck is being recovered and the yogurt is cleaned off the road. According to the ANWB, all traffic is now being directed through the left side of the tunnel. This will likely cause a delay. https://twitter.com/WIS_Wilco/status/630618125826945024
