Cat saved from overheated car; owner fined

The police rescued a cat that was locked into a hot car in Zandvoort on Thursday. The car was parked in the blazing sun with all its windows closed. The police broke one of the car's windows to get to free the animal. The overheated cat was handed over to the animal ambulance for treatment. The cat's owner will receive a 250 fine. He or she will also be responsible for the costs of the cat's treatment and the replacement of the car window. https://twitter.com/POL_Zandvoort/status/629224701085270016
