Apparent flasher more likely a crime victim

A mostly naked man wandering the streets of Hierden on Sunday shocked local residents, who called the police. But what the residents thought to be a flasher, actually turned out to be a victim of assault and theft. When the police found the man, he was indeed walking down Parallelweg mostly naked. When the officers confronted him, the man told them that he had been attacked by three men. He was kicked, beaten and stripped of his clothes. The officers took pity on the man, gave him a blanket against the cold and took him to the police station to take his statement. The police are taking the man's statement seriously and are looking for possible witnesses. They would like to make contact with anyone who saw anything suspicious around Beekhuizerzand early on Sunday afternoon. One of the attackers was wearing running shoes and a dark tracksuit with three stripes.
