Terror suspect wanted to attack US embassy in The Hague

Suspected jihadist Mohamed B. wanted to blow up the American embassy in The Hague. According to the Public Prosecutor, B. said so in a Facebook chat with an acquaintance. This came to light during during an interim handling of B.'s case in the high security court in Rotterdam, AD reports. "I want to blow up the US embassy in the occupied Netherlands", B. wrote on Facebook, according to the prosecutor. B.'s lawyer Andre Seebregts previously stated that his client is definitely not a hardened jihadist. According to the lawyer, B. is a "dreamer", who is primarily concerned with boasting online and picking up women. The court ruled on Wednesday that B. will remain in custody until his hearing in August. B. has been imprisoned on the terrorist department of the prison in Vught for 9 months so far.
