Warm today, 30 degrees temps tomorrow

The first real summer weather of the year is heading towards the Netherlands, according to the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute. Thursday is expected to be warm and sunny with weak to moderate easterly winds. The maximum temperatures will range from 18 degrees in the Wadden area to 25 degrees in the rest of the country. Friday is expected to be even warmer and sunnier. Maximum temperatures will reach up to 30 degrees in many places, with only the Wadden area being a few degrees cooler. There is a chance of some heavy showers and thunderstorms from the southwest on Friday evening. This weekend is also expected to be dry and sunny, although the temperatures will be somewhat cooler. Maximum temperatures of up to 22 degrees can be expected for Saturday and up to 19 degrees for Sunday.
