King, Queen bring Amsterdam house party to Chicago

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima showed the cool side of royalty in Chicago on Tuesday night. The royal couple surprised the local house and dance music fans by showing up at mini-concert after a dance music masterclass and joined the party for a bit. The School of House Amsterdam - an online educational platform for the dance industry that prepares people for a successful career as, among other things, a DJ or event organizer - gave a masterclass at a pavilion in Millennium Park on Tuesday night. At the end of the evening, the Dutch royal couple dropped in. The King and Queen got onto the stage with DJ's Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano. King Willem-Alexander put on the headphones and pressed play for the next song. "One of the coolest things I've seen." said Kyle Beverforden, who posted the video on YouTube. The King and Queen were greeted by a large group of children outside the Chicago Cultural Center when they arrived in the Windy City on Tuesday. Before dropping in on the house party, the royal couple had dinner with Dutch business leaders, ABC Chicago reports. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are currently on an official visit to the United States. They met with President Barack Obama at the White House in Washington D.C. on Monday.
