Judges: Trial of murdered busker held in secret

The judges at the court in Zwolle have decided to hold the criminal case against the 17 year old suspect in the murder of a 54 year old street musician behind closed doors. The case appears in court on Monday. A spokesperson for the court told RTV Oost that the personal circumstances of the accused will be discussed as part of the case. In the case of an underage suspect, the suspect's personal circumstances are never revealed to the public. The Public Prosecutor will, however, announce the demanded sentence later on Monday. The musician, Zdravko Vazov, was stabbed to death at a shopping center in Zwolle early in December last year. Vazov was stabbed more than 30 times. A bystander who tried to intervene was also injured. The circumstances that led to the stabbing is still unclear.
