Two adult men found with missing teen girl arrested

The missing 14 year old girl from Hardinxveld-Giessendam has been found. The police found Marilyn with two men in a home in Diemen on Monday night. According to the police, she is doing well under the circumstances. The two men found with the girl has been arrested. Marilyn had been missing since Friday after she did not return home from school. The police immediately launched an investigation and started spreading the girl's photo through social media and the police website. On Sunday the police triggered a regional amber alert and spread information about the girl with an sms-action in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. According to the police, this led to about a dozen serious tips that the investigators followed up on. Information surfaced on Monday which led the police to the address in Diemen, where the girl was found on Monday night. The two residents of the home, two men aged 35 and 60 years, have been arrested. At this time it is still unclear what the link is between the girl and the men and what exactly happened during the days that the girl was missing. In the coming days the police will speak with the girl and question the two men.
