Police find over €700,000 in cash in Roosendaal house
Police investigators discovered over 700,000 euros in cash after raiding a house on Desmijndijk in Roosendaal, Noord Brabant on Monday, police reported.
Officers conducted a search of the house as a part of an investigation to an armed robbery of a grocery store that took place in February. During the search, officers came across a large sum of cash money they suspect being obtained by criminal activities. The money was seized.
An 18-year old man turned himself in to the police in Bergen op Zoom and was arrested for his involvement in the robbery. He remains in custody in Breda.
Police have made no further arrests regarding the robbery on Beethovenlaan in Roosendaal.
