Fatally wounded Oma Toni honored on Albert Cuyp

The Albert Cuyp Market set up a stall in honor of recently deceased Oma Toni on Monday. Oma Toni was stabbed on March 19th as she was strolling through De Pijp, Amsterdam with her walker. She somehow managed to get away from her attacker and call the police. After fighting for her life in hospital for almost a month, Oma Toni sadly passed away last week. The people of the market raised 500 euros to buy a large mourning piece. The stall also gives visitors the opportunity to light a candle and write a message to Oma Toni's relatives.
