ATM bombing brings Wageningen rail traffic to a standstill

An ATM bombing at the Ede-Wageningen train station brought railway traffic to a standstill early on Wednesday morning. Two possibly dangerous gas cylinders were found close to the ATM. The restrictions were lifted when authorities determined that the area was safe. The bombing happened just before 04:30 a.m., AD reports. The ATM is located on the side of the station building. According to the police, "significant" damage was done to the machine. A burnt out minibus was found close tot the machine. It is unclear whether anything was taken. The perpetrator(s) is still at large.
