Dutch celeb catches home invader drinking wine, smoking a bong by her fireplace

Dutch singer and actress Ellen ten Damme experienced a very strange burglary in her houseboat last night. When arriving home from her performance at the Koninklijke Schouburg in The Hague last night, she found an intruder sitting on her couch and claiming that the house belonged to him. The 48 year old actress described her experience on Twitter, stating that she got the fright of her life. "There was an intruder in my house! He drank red wine, had the fireplace lit, watched TV, with a bong, and said it was his house." The intruder also planned on washing his pants and socks, putting them in soapy water. He finished her wine, unpacked his bag, moved plants around and put down a rug. According to Ten Damme, the intruder kept insisting that it was his house, even after the police had him in cuffs. She describes the experience as terrifying, but managed to keep her sense of humor. "Very nice that he already had already lit the fireplace. Cozy...!" The detectives informed Ten Damme that the intruder was probably a Frenchman. "Hence he took my best bottle of wine"
