Guns stolen after truck smashes weapons store
Robbers backed a truck through the window of The Gearshed Store in Kaatsheuvel early on Friday morning, Omroep Brabant reports. The owner of the weapon store can't yet say what was stolen.
The bizarre break in happened around 03:50 a.m. on Frankrijkstraat. The truck, which was stolen from a parking lot in Sprang-Capelle, was set on fire and left behind on the scene. The perpetrators managed to get away.
The Gearshed Store sells a variety of weapons, including knives and guns. According to owner Rob Boom, the store is aimed at hunters and hobby marksmen.
