Seatbelt wouldn't fit: Woman in wheelchair hurt in taxi crash

A 73 year old wheelchair-bound woman was injured on Saturday when the taxi bus transporting her suddenly braked on Emmaplein in Groningen. The woman was not wearing a seat belt. When the taxi came to a sudden stop, she shot out of her wheelchair and hit her head on a chair. She sustained a head injury and had to be taken to the hospital. The police filed an official report against the taxi driver. The taxi driver claimed that they had tried to put the seat belt on, but it wouldn't fit.
