Scheveningen Pier wants new entrepreneurs to set up shop

The new owners of the Scheveningen Pier are in search of entrepreneurs for the reopening of their historic venue. The owners want to attract innovative restaurants, bars and shops as soon as possible, they say. KondorWessels Realty and Danzep BV purchased the boardwalk and buildings for three million euros last year. Their intention is to turn the pier into an "international hotspot". The pier has been under a thorough renovation and is to reopen this year. A Ferris wheel is expected to be one of the major new attractions of the place. Entrepreneurs interested in the venue are asked to submit their ideas before April 1.
