Over a million search for water board election info

In the run up to election day today, Kieskompas' website had 62,000 hits per hour from people looking for information on the water board election. More than 1 million people in total visited the site to find out more about the parties participating in the election, according to André Krouwel, director of Kieskompas. The website gives information about the parties involved and what they stand for. "Other issues play in water boards on the coast than in ares with many rivers and peat-lands," Krouwel said. "Parties make different tradeoffs in every region: therefore there are many to choose from. A Kieskompas was made for each water board with which voters can see which party is best suited to their own beliefs." If you haven't made your decision on what party to vote for in the water board elections yet, information can be obtained here.
