Teacher arrested, fired for child porn

A 41-year-old teacher of a primary school in Ell, Limburg, has been fired after being arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography, NOS reports. The man's name came to the police attention during a broader investigation into child pornography. He was arrested early this year. The man remained in custody until last month, when he was provisionally released under strict conditions, which include having to report to the probation services on a regular basis. Authorities found child pornography on the man's home computer. According to a spokesperson, there were a considerable number of pictures, but none of them was of students at the school where the man taught. Authorities will shortly decide whether the teacher will have to appear in court.
