Amstelveen city hall evacuated following threat

A threatening letter caused a short evacuation of the Amstelveen city hall this morning, BNR reports. According to a spokesperson for the police "there was a written threat that justified the evacuation". About 500 officials had to leave the building on Laan Nieuwer-Amstel. They were allowed to return to their offices about two hours later. The police searched the building, but found nothing suspicious.
