105kg drugs seized in Rotterdam

Police confiscated 105 kilograms of narcotics during a search of a house in Rotterdam last night.

A tersely worded press release from the police spokesman said the house at Spanjaardstraat was raided after a tip that there were drugs inside. There was no one present when officers arrived. With the help of a drug sniffing dog the narcotics that were wrapped in several packages were quickly found. The release didn’t exactly say what kind of drugs it concerned. It said that an investigation has been launched to find the owner and the origin of the drugs. “Arrests are likely,” it stated. The narcotics have meanwhile been destroyed.
