Mobile internet use doubles in Netherlands
The amount of mobile data Dutch consumers use doubled in the past year. Compared to two years ago, the mobile data use tripled.
This is according to figures for the telecom market in the 3rd quarter of last year, which the Authority Consumers and Markets (ACM) published yesterday.
"Through significant investments in 4G networks we see that the use of fast mobile internet continues to grow unabatedly strong", said Henk Don, director of ACM. "In the third quarter of 2012 5.9 Petabytes was still consumed in the Netherlands per quarter, now that is already 17.6 Petabytes per quarter."
