Netherlands could get extra Europa League slot

The Netherlands may win the right to register an additional team for the qualifying rounds of the Europa League next season. The Netherlands is second on the fair play rankings of UEFA, behind Ireland. The three top countries in fair play rankings at the end of the season get an extra selection for the Europa tournament. If the Netherlands make it to the top three of the list, the selection goes to the highest fair play ranking team on national level. The national ranking is led by Ajax with 8.24 points after 17 matches. The team receiving the ticket team has to play in Eredivisie and has not already qualified for either European tournament in 2015. The fair play rankings are based on the sporting behaviour of the teams that play in the UEFA competitions.
