Zwolle museum gets record number of visitors

A record number of people visited the Museum de Fundatie (Foundation Museum) in Zwolle this year. Along with the second location, Kasteel het Nijenhuis and the sculpture garden in Heino/Wijhe, the museum attracted 261,500 visitors. In 2013 the museum had a total of 226 thousand visitors. Museum de Fundatie reopened last year after extensive renovations. Since then the number of visitors has increase significantly. Crowd pullers this past year include exhibitions such as Marino Marini - Painter, illustrator, sculptor and Van Gogh to Cremer - Dutch artists in Paris.
