Car careens through four gardens; boy, 15, arrested

On Tuesday the police arrested a 15 year old boy in Nieuwerker aan den IJssel for joyriding. Just before 22:00 p.m. the police got a report that a car careened off the road on Schoolstraat and drove through a number of gardens. At the scene the police confirmed that the car was driven through 4 gardens before it came to a stop. The 15 year old boy, the only occupant of the car, was arrested on the spot.
