Man shot dead in Enschede shopping center

A man was shot on the square behind the Twekkelerveld shopping center in Enschede at about 22:15 last night. The police has confirmed that the victim died of his injuries in hospital. Thus far the police have no information regarding the perpetrator or possible motive of the shooting. The area where the shooting occurred has been closed off. A mobile unit is present to ensure that no one enters the crime scene. The police are conducting a large scale investigation.
