First snowfall of the season

The first snow of the season has fallen. On Tuesday night in the hills of Limburg. Some places were white with a thin layer of snow on the grass and the rooftops. Nieuw Beerta measuring station recorded a maximum temperature of exactly 0.0 degrees. This is the first time in this winter season that regionally the temperature did not rise above zero. Yesterday missed being an official ice day by a hair. For an official ice day the temperature must remain at at least one-tenth of a degree below zero. Today the cold weather will remain near freezing in most of the country. Weer.nl expects the maximum temperatures to be milder by this weekend.
